Michael Dowd was born in Valencia, Spain, and raised in St. Louis. He graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. He earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law. While attending law school, Michael worked in the intellectual property law department at the Simon Law Firm under attorney Anthony G. Simon, where he gained experience in patent, copyright, and trademark infringement litigation.

Michael then served as an appellate judicial clerk for Judge Sherri B. Sullivan and Judge Thomas C. Clark II of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District.

Michael joined Holland Law Firm in 2022 and works throughout all of the firm’s practice areas.

In his free time, Michael enjoys mountain biking, music, and road trips.
